Ganni Fall 2025 Ready To Wear

Ditte Reffstrup’s Fall 2025 collection for Ganni revolved around the theme of “home,” not as a place but as a feeling. Showing in Paris for the second time, the brand reflected on its position in fashion, balancing between luxury and high street. The move to Paris pushed creativity further—seen in the precise tailoring of a navy peacoat with barrel sleeves and artistic tapestry details on denim. The collection had a newfound maturity, though some elements, like the skate skirt-over-pants styling, felt repetitive.

Held at Hotel Pozzo di Borgo, once home to Karl Lagerfeld, the show drew inspiration from interiors. Draping mirrored window treatments, while florals, tapestry, and animal prints returned in fresh ways. A corduroy suit and a tweed jacket with lining-fabric sleeves brought a rustic touch, while chunky shoes referenced the Swedish clogs Reffstrup wears in her garden. The final looks, with pilgrim-like collars, introduced an unexpected austerity.

Reffstrup also explored the comfort of sound, recalling her time in Paris when city noise felt like home. Danish composer Frederik Valentin wove recordings of Paris streets into the show’s soundtrack, reinforcing the theme. “I really hope people feel the softness of the collection,” she said—blending beauty with a sense of protection.
