On December 2, 2025, Paris hosted the 13th edition of the Dîner des Maisons engagées, an evening that revealed how deeply inclusion is now woven into the strategic fabric of LVMH. The Group’s Inclusion Awards recognized seven initiatives led across its Maisons, regions, and employee networks, each demonstrating how diversity and inclusion are being translated into concrete action rather than abstract values.

At a time when luxury brands are increasingly scrutinized for their social impact, LVMH positioned inclusion not as a communications narrative, but as an operational and cultural priority. The message was clear. Sustainable excellence in luxury now depends as much on people and culture as on heritage and craftsmanship.

Created to highlight initiatives developed directly on the ground, the Inclusion Awards celebrate programs that evolve workplace practices, recognize individual uniqueness, and foster a genuine sense of belonging. Presented during an evening that also supported Robert-Debré Hospital and partner nonprofits, the ceremony emphasized the social dimension of LVMH’s commitments and their close connection to employees and communities.

Vanessa Moungar, Vice President Corporate Social Responsibility and Inclusion at LVMH, framed inclusion as a collective responsibility embedded in everyday operations. This perspective reflects a broader shift within the luxury sector. Brands are no longer defined solely by their products, but by the ecosystems they build around talent, creativity, and care.

When Craftsmanship Becomes a Symbol of Inclusion

In a detail rich with meaning, the trophies awarded to the winners were designed in collaboration with Victoire de Castellane and the jewelry creative studio of Christian Dior Couture. These one-of-a-kind pieces fused exceptional craftsmanship with symbolic intent, expressing diversity and open-mindedness through form and material.

The gesture was subtle but powerful. By entrusting Dior’s ateliers with the creation of the awards, LVMH aligned inclusion with its highest standards of savoir-faire. In luxury, symbolism matters, and here it reinforced the idea that human values and artisanal excellence are inseparable.

Seven Initiatives, One Cultural Direction

The 2025 awards followed LVMH’s Diversity and Inclusion roadmap, recognizing initiatives across key dimensions of social progress.

Gender Equity

Christian Dior Couture’s Women@Dior program, developed in partnership with UNESCO, continues to mentor and train young women across more than 60 countries. Its strength lies in its global reach combined with long-term commitment, positioning education and leadership development as pillars of equality.

Disability Inclusion

Louis Vuitton’s Angel Program in China focuses on the recruitment, integration, and career development of people with disabilities. By offering personalized support within stores and headquarters, the program transforms inclusion into sustained professional opportunity.

LGBTI+ Inclusion

Sephora’s Brave Spaces initiative reimagined retail during Pride Month by creating safe and expressive environments across 50 cities. The project reframed the beauty store as a place of confidence and identity, extending inclusion into direct customer experience.

Generations

Groupe Les Echos – Le Parisien’s Savoirs Partagés program opened the Group’s professions to tenth-grade students through immersive internships and mentorship. The initiative addressed access and orientation, reinforcing equal opportunity at an early stage.

Origins

Chandon’s Build Your Future programs tackled literacy and secondary education among vineyard and cellar teams. Rooted in local terroirs, the initiative strengthened employability, autonomy, and recognition for workers essential to the Maison’s identity.

Inclusive Culture

LOEWE’s Culture Map training program focused on developing cultural agility among leaders. Designed to support global collaboration, it anchored inclusive management practices within a rapidly internationalizing luxury brand.

Inclusion Leadership Award

The Le Bon Marché Group received the biennial Inclusion Leadership Award for achieving the strongest overall performance indicators in diversity and inclusion, highlighting the importance of consistency at scale.

Together, these initiatives reveal LVMH’s approach. Inclusion is not standardized across the Group, but adapted to each Maison’s culture, geography, and métier.

Leadership-Level Commitment

The jury selecting the winners brought together members of the LVMH Executive Committee, Maison presidents, chief executives, and creative leadership, including Delphine Arnault, Maud Alvarez-Pereyre, Stéphane Bianchi, and Pharrell Williams. Their involvement underscored that inclusion is now a governance issue, embedded at the highest level of decision-making.

This matters. In luxury, leadership alignment often determines whether values remain aspirational or become operational realities.
